Official RPI has us at 34, up from last week's 43.
Lunardi keeps us as an 11 seed (Cornell is an 8 seed?), but now has us in Jacksonville playing Wake. Wouldn't Voice be happy! Second round game would be vs. Wisconson-Charleston winner, and the Sweet Sixteen game would be in the Dome.
Would fans sign up for that scenario right now if it could be guaranteed?

Don't want the "respect" of an 8/9 seed where you have play #1 in round 2.
give me a 7, 10, 11, 12 seed.

Or Providence, an even shorter drive, although there will be about six thousand fewer seats available at the Dunk compared to HSBC Arena. On the other hand, Providence would be an interesting venue, since the Dunk was the site of Rob Lanier's first game as the Siena coach in 2001-02. Lunardi has URI there as a six seed. That would be worse geographically than playing Ohio State in Dayton.

Hey Jess come on its ok you can admit it ... Florida is where you want to be for the first two rounds! Fly Southwest into Jax spend the weekend watching our Saints win two games and enjoy the FL weather and beaches between games. Plus lots of Alumni between ATL and Sarasota/Palm Beach areas.
