Lets hope he could it some 3s if he gets backk in. We need Alex, Josh and BRian need help. Kenny needs to hit a floater or two. But lets' be proud of the first half effort.

Our guys are toooooooooo tentative!!! I hope Fran sits Hasbrouck and Moore for Jackson and Downey. Keep Ubiles at the point. That brought us the most success in the first half.

harbrouck is a huge disappointment in the season so far. I really believe the reallity that he wont play in the NBA has been a kick to his sack and so far... hes done offensively. Hopefully he gets his head on straight.
Good things to take from this game. Downey and Wignot...and yes Jackson.
bad...
Moore had poor stretches, ubiles had a mental vacation to start the second half... along with Franklin.
Downey and Wingot both looked like they belonged out there which says a LOT as freshmen.
Siena plays like this against many teams they will get a lot of wins. Not many teams will have that front court. A pretty good defensive effort given the opponent.

Tough game Pitt is good- real good. CJ played well except from 3 point land where he was 0-8. I have to believe something is wrong with Kenny. He can’t even hit a mid range shot anymore. If he isn’t healthy Fran should consider sitting him. Can’t have your shooting guard firing blanks

Siena played better with Kenny off the floor... this isn't a unknown player here- Kenny is a proven ALL MAAC performer. He was missing 3 footers tonight. I have to believe something is wrong physically

Fran - send Kenny for a physical. Eyeglasses! Inner-ear infection! It has to be something. I guy doesn't score as much as he did in his first 3 years and have several o-fer-6 / o-fer-8 games.
There is something wrong.
until that's determined, Kenny should not start or play extended minutes.

SaintsFan wrote:I dont believe Kenny is mentally healthy. Just watch how he is carrying himself Better showing than I expected, though that first 5 minutes of the second half were brutal. (I was expecting a 30 point blow out.) Good things to take from this game: Downey, Jackson, Wignot, Rossiter all competed and showed that they have something to offer this team. Hasbrouck is not playing well, to say the least. But, Siena needs him to be playing with confidence and hitting the shots he has hit for the last 3 years in order to meet their potential. They have to let him continue to play through this funk, if not, he might never get back to being the player they need him to be. While neither Franklin nor Hasbrouck played their games, I thought Moore was the one who's struggles hurt the team the most. as for Pitt, Blair is awesome.

I'm sorry...but you have to sit Hasbrouk at this point. He simply isn't performing even up to substitute standards right now. Downey and Jackson both looked significantly more dominant in this game than Kenny. I want to see him do well, but he simply isn't showing it in this portion of the season. I think it's time for a wake-up call...

The real negative was that we didn't behave like a mature team when Pitt got its two runs going. We intensified those runs by trying to throw quick return daggers, trying to push the break where it wasn't there... not good choices for a seasoned team.
The real positive was that the motion in the offense looked consistent yet again, it seems we may have turned the corner away from the settling offense and into one that will earn a lot more quality shots as the season wears on. I like what I see developing in the team right now. It is sad to me that it seems to be accompanied by leaving Hasbrouck in the cold. I hope that turns around. He's gonna have to find a new role fast. Team doesn't need an Atlas anymore.

The game result wasn't totally unexpected. Does anyone else get annoyed when the announcers start lengthy conversations about Hansbrough from NC and his NBA potential and all the Big East teams while they totally ignore the game in progress?
